This is a street-performance pickup truck, which is essentially the complete opposite of what this type of vehicle was originally designed for. Nevertheless, there is clearly a demand for this kind of truck, which is why the 2027 RAM Rumble Bee is likely to be a big hit when it arrives on the market.
As if the 2027 RAM Rumble Bee weren’t already cool enough, the American automaker’s truck is available with several powertrain options. You can first opt for the classic 5.7-liter V8 engine, which produces 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. Next up is the 392 version, which, as you probably guessed, is powered by a 6.4-liter V8 producing 470 horsepower and 455 pound-feet of torque.
Finally, the SRT version sits at the top of the lineup with its supercharged 6.2-liter V8 producing 777 horsepower and 680 pound-feet of torque—figures that venture into exotic-car territory even though we’re talking about an American pickup truck. In fact, the 2027 RAM 1500 Rumble Bee SRT can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3.4 seconds and complete the quarter-mile in 11.6 seconds.
The 2027 RAM 1500 Rumble Bee will carry a starting price of $81,990, which certainly isn’t within everyone’s budget, but it remains quite reasonable for a performance vehicle. The 392 version will start at $92,990, while the price climbs to $103,990 with the Track Pack. As for the SRT version, it will set you back $128,990 before options and taxes, which remains surprisingly reasonable considering the kind of machine you’re getting.
