Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator Rewind: When Retro Takes Center Stage

2026-04-20

This year, Jeep has set itself the goal of unveiling twelve special editions in twelve months. The American automaker is continuing that momentum with the Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator Rewind models for the month of April.

This new series of special editions is likely to be popular, as it draws directly from the concept that generated the most attention at the latest Easter Jeep Safari—an event where Jeep showcases a range of increasingly bold concept vehicles.

A Taste of the ’80s and ’90s

The Rewind special edition takes its inspiration from a time when vehicles featured vibrant colors paired with digital-style graphics that look straight out of an arcade video game. In short, it’s a throwback designed to highlight the culture of the ’80s and ’90s.

The upgrades offered with this special edition go beyond bright colors and decals. The Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator Rewind models also feature wheels and tow hooks with gold accents, body-color fender flares, Nappa leather seats, decorative stitching, and several additional features not already included as standard on the Willys trim on which these new special editions are based.

Coming Soon to Dealerships

If the new special editions of the Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator interest you, note that the order books will open next May. For the Wrangler, buyers will need to pay an additional $4,000 to get the Rewind limited edition. For the Gladiator, the premium is set at $3,700. This is a more than reasonable amount considering everything that’s included, especially in terms of exclusive features.

I don’t know about you, but so far, this is by far my favorite special edition since the launch of the Twelve 4 Twelve program.
